The basic principle of Bharashtachar Virodhi Morcha (BVM) is based on universal democratic rights, social justice, and the complete abolition of all systems that enable exploitation of one human being by another.
BVM believes that every citizen has a moral and constitutional duty to challenge corruption and injustice wherever it exists.

Corruption in India deeply affects the economy and governance of central, state, and local government institutions. It results in the misallocation of public resources, weakens democratic systems, and gives rise to a shadow economy.
As a consequence, essential services such as education, healthcare, and public welfare suffer, ultimately lowering the quality of life and living standards of society as a whole.

Corruption is an unethical and illegal abuse of power by individuals in authority, including public officials and private sector leaders. It may take the form of bribery, favoritism, misuse of public funds, electoral manipulation, money laundering, fraud, or other dishonest practices.
Bharashtachar Virodhi Morcha (BVM) actively works to expose such practices and supports lawful, transparent, and accountable governance.

BVM functions as a people-driven anti-corruption movement, committed to fighting political and administrative corruption through legal action, public awareness, social audits, and citizen participation. The organization also stands with victims of corruption and helps them seek justice through proper legal channels.
